Position: Roastery Café Barista
Position Type: Permanent, Full-time
Schedule: Five days a week, Saturday and various weekdays
Compensation: $19-22/hour, based on experience

About Us
Level Ground Coffe Roasters started in Victoria, BC in 1997 with a focus on fair trade sourcing. We import and roast coffee in our facility off Keating Cross Road on the beautiful Saanich Peninsula. We also have a beautiful café to offer locals an elevated coffee experience with our freshly roasted coffee.
Job Overview
Your Barista role at Level Ground will to be to offer friendly, inviting service to our customers, prepare drinks, and maintain a clean and inviting coffee shop. We provide a friendly, casual, and coffee-centred community space that aims to make people feel welcome and (where possible) happier than when they arrived.
- Work cooperatively and effectively in our small, tight-knit team
- Balance caring for customer-facing areas with the espresso bar area
- Receive customer orders: operate Square Point of Sale system, handle cash, serve food & drinks
- Prepare espresso-based beverages, brewed coffee, and other menu items as needed
- Maintain customer areas: bus & wipe tables, clean and restock dishes, take out refuse, clean all areas of café
- Serve customers: provide our customers with excellent service focused on warmth and competency
- Other duties as required: many other tasks associated with cleaning and customer service
